This Koi has been bred by Blackwater Creek Koi Farms Inc using imported Koi from some of Japan's leading Koi farms. Our Koi farms produce both Standard Fin and Butterfly Koi. Blackwater Creek maintains bio-security and is recognized as a disease free farm for SVC and has never had KHV. The approximate size of the Koi pictured is determined using a ruler we placed in the bowl during the photo shoot some pictures do not contain rulers therefore sizes are approximate and prices are determined more on quality than size. Please understand we estimate size as close as we can however in some cases the sizes are incorrect up to 3". We do try our best to state information correctly. To keep prices down, we list these fish fairly quickly so if you find a fish you like grab it as they can be sold within minutes of posting the pictures.

If it is not listed then the sex of the fish has not been determined. We normally do not sex the fish as we judge them on size and pattern without much concern for the sex. If you must know the sex, it is possible for us to individually determine it, however due to the work involved, we must charge a $100 sexing fee prior to checking. Ask about a nice discount when purchasing many fish together at one time!
